Built with heavy-duty materials, they are able to withstand high traffic areas but also soft enough to compliment the landscapes of parks and open green spaces, ideal for outdoor dining locations in tough urban environments.
We’ve partnered with tropical timber reclamation specialists, Ashwells to offer a new and improved and more sustainable version of our Fordham seats and tables. Ashwells source and reclaim tropical hardwoods like Greenheart, Jarrah, and Keruing; repurposing the timber for future use in an FSC certified process that combats deforestation, saves energy and mineral resources, and protects architectural history.
We are resusing tropical hardwoods that may have been extracted hundreds of years ago, which significantly reduces the demand for new timbers and ultimately helps preserves our forests. Given that wood only gets stronger and more durable over time, reclaimed hardwood timber is a great alternative to Iroko when It comes to delivering robust street furniture that will complement outdoor spaces, withstand high footfall with frequent usage and stand the test of time.
