1. How would you describe your role in terms of the end result that a client or user experiences?

I’d say a key part of my role is guidance. I’m there to help customers navigate the process of sourcing street furniture for their projects, from the tender stage all the way through to ordering. Whether it’s through pricing or answering questions, my goal is to help our customers achieve what they’re looking for.

2. What are the top 3 rules for anyone who joins your team?

To be open minded, caring and dedicated.

3. What is the most memorable story you have from the factory/office floor?

As I work remotely my favourite memory was Furnifest! Meeting the whole team, seeing and feeling the products myself and also getting to take photos of the memories we made that day is something I’ll always remember.

4. What within your department do you care for most? Why?

My coworkers as there would be no department without them!

5. What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you unexpectedly encounter a Furnitubes product in public?

I’d say pride, followed by also wanting to take a picture!

6. What is the most satisfying part of your role?

Seeing the end results of a project you’ve been working on and knowing you’ve been part of creating a beautiful space for people to enjoy.

7. When faced with a challenge, what or who do you turn to for inspiration?

As a Muslim I’d say religion! I find there’s always some sort of guidance for every situation which is reassuring when you’re facing difficulties.

8. If you were to attempt a profession other than your current one, what would it be?

There’s lots of professions that I’d love to try but I believe I’d probably excel most at marketing or business analysis.

9. When you’re not at work, what brings a smile to your face?

Reading. Baking, listening to podcasts, spending time with my niece and nephew, and my cat!
